THE VISION
Live Life Abundantly
In His own words, Jesus shares his purpose for coming to this earth: To give us an abundant life. Throughout His time here, he not only taught, but displayed what an abundant life looks like. It is through the mission and values of Loma Linda Academy Campus Ministries (LLA*CM) that we pursue this abundant life.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 NKJV

THE MISSION & VALUES
It is the mission of LLA*CM to foster the spirituality of everyone on campus through abiding in Christ, assembling in community, and activating culture.
Abide in Christ
It is only by abiding in Christ that we have any capacity to bring "his kingdom" to the LLA campus. It is through abiding in Christ that we see most clearly who we are, who He is, and in turn who our "neighbor" is, and how to love them all.
-Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. John 15:4 NRSV
Assemble In Community
The experience of Christ is both personal and communal. We are called to seek him in silence and in community with others. Assembling in Christ-centered community is a vital part of a vibrant, abundant life.
-And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:25 NLT
Activate Culture
We are constantly being shaped by the culture around us–most of the time this is a passive process. Jesus calls us to live a different way; to be actively engaged with our surroundings so as to activate a Christ-centered culture filled with love acceptance.
-Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 NIV
-Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 RSV
