There's quite a lengthy waitlist, but we know that life happens so there's a chance that students may drop out and students on the waitlist could be given a chance.
Yes. We realize that life is sometimes unpredictable. For that reason we do give students a chance to opt out and get their money back.
Bible conference is a 3-day weekend for juniors and seniors in our SoCal Adventist academies to inspire spiritual growth and development and build community with others that are like-minded.
This year's theme is "Overwhelmed." We plan to address the things in life that overwhelm us and recognize the relief that Jesus offers in tangible and practical ways.

Bible Conference is run by the SECC Education department. The team consists of a variety of administrators, educators, and ministers. Meet the team: Iveth Valenzuela, Bill Arnold, Lynsey Mike, Timothy Oliver, Lindsey Haffner, Somer Knight, Nic Borchik, and Darena Shetler.
Because of how limited the space is, Bible Conference is only for students currently attending Adventist academies within SECC and SCC (Southern California Conference).
Bible Conference is located at Pine Springs Ranch in Mountain Center, CA. https://www.pinespringsranch.org/
Bible Conference begins Thursday, February 2 with registration opening at 4:30, dinner at 5:30, and the first general session beginning at 7pm and ends by Sabbath, February 4 at 4:45pm. Leaders are required to be at the camp starting Wednesday, February 1 at 8am for a day of training and team bonding.
Because of the nature of the weekend, students are not allowed to come late or leave early otherwise it disrupts the family group system in place and takes away from the experience of the student and others within the group. This weekend is a tightly packed, highly engaging experience and it becomes a disservice to anyone not able to fully engage.
Loma Linda Academy students will be riding on two buses leaving campus on Thursday at 3:30pm and returning back to campus on Sabbath at 6:30pm. Student leaders will be taken in two vans leaving Wednesday morning at 6:30am and arriving back onto the LLA campus on Sabbath at 6:30pm
Sleeping bag and mat, warm clothing (snow and/or rain), change of clothes for 2-3 days, warm shoes for outdoor activities, Bible, flashlight, soap, shampoo, other toiletries, masks (optional).
Loma Linda Academy students will be charged $190. This cost covers food, lodging, general conference expenses such as materials and t-shirts, transportation, and more.
There is extremely spotty cell phone service and no wifi accessible to students. Anticipate not communicating with anyone outside of the campgrounds until departure on Sabbath afternoon. The camp office has a landline that can be used to communicate in case of emergency.
Students will be sleeping in lodge rooms with their family groups - these family groups are intentionally assigned for students to mix between schools. Students may not choose what family group to be in or who to room with.
Family groups are designed to create connections, community, and bonding between students of a variety of schools. Throughout the weekend they will be engaged in games, discussions, study, and worship together. Every family group consists of about 10 to 12 students and has a student leader to guide them throughout the weekend.
Family Group Leaders are chosen by the sponsors of each academy. If you would like to be considered to be a family group leader, please select that option on the signup below when opened tonight at 8:30pm.
Prayer warriors are students who volunteer to pray together for everyone at Bible Conference and for the different activities. Prayer warriors arrive on Wednesday morning with the rest of the leaders. They will help set up and organize the Prayer Oasis and do a prayer walk dedicating the campground before students arrive on Thursday. During the weekend they will help engage other students in prayer and worship through “First Focus” (early morning worship before breakfast) and other experiences, such as the Prayer Oasis.
